Abstract

Nineteen species of Eunice have been described from Australia, New Zealand and adjacent areas. The types of these species are redescribed and illustrated. Of the 19 species, two can no longer be recognized and no types are available. These two species, E. gaimardi and E. quoya, both described by Quatrefages (1866), are here considered indeterminable. A key to all species recorded from the area is given.
